The Art of Assisting
THE ART OF ASSISTING
at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health
April 24 - 26

Bring your yoga teaching skills to the next level in this fun and informative workshop on assisting your students.
We will:
*Work with partners to explore a variety of assists and modifications.
*Discuss and experience the significance of touch.
*Develop the awareness of entering the sacred space of the student's yoga mat.
*Creatd safety by affirming the importance of physical boundaries.
*Observe the body in the postures as sculpture and discover ways to mold the form to release the healing flow of prana.

Assisting a student is not about correction or perfection; rather it is a loving act that brings students deeper into the spirit of the posture and their practice.
